The August 1 Harvest Festival and 5G Beach Protest, and De-Natured Societies are Harvesting … Data

The beginning of August offers observance of the Harvest Festival.

Yet most of those living in “modern” societies aren’t aware of the significance this time of year holds.

Industrialization brought many innovations.  But along the way, humans have lost their understanding of the natural order of the world.

Increasingly, many believe that 5G and the drive to colonize space has brought the dynamic of separation and exploitation to a point of critical mass.

One solution is to begin swimming against the tide of the industrialized consumer culture and the momentum of disaster capitalism, and to re-establish reverence for nature as the foundation of both community and personal decisions.

Whether regarding the food supply, chemicals, plastic, health care, energy, or telecommunications, a new day of reasoning is dawning for many.  Many are re-membering.

The Celtic Wheel and Cross Quarters

Before sunrise, ancient Egyptians watched for the Dog Star Sirius to rise in the east. It corresponded with the annual flooding of the Nile River, and the planting season.

Throughout millennia, cultures passed down accumulated wisdom from earlier generations about how to live in harmony with nature.

One of the most significant tools for harmonizing with the planet’s rhythms, lost in modern day, is the recognition of the impact of the timing of the full and new moons, relative to the start of the seasons.

Turning points of the year are the winter solstice (around December 21), the spring equinox (around March 21), the summer solstice (around June 21) and the autumnal equinox (around 21 September). The major Celtic holidays of the year, also known as ‘cross-quarter festivals’ fall in between the four cross quarters; Imbolc (Feb 1), Bealtaine (May 1), Lughnasadh (August 1) and Samhain (October 1).”

Here we are, at Lughnasadh.

The Harvest! Lughnasadh Or Lammas, One Of The Important And Sacred Celtic Holidays Of The Year  Pronunciations: LOO-nah-sah, loo-nə-sə

“At Lammas, sometimes called Lughnasadh, it’s time to celebrate the first harvest of the year, and recognize that the hot summer days will soon come to an end. The plants of spring wither and drop seeds to ensure future crops. Grains are ready to be harvested and the fruits are ripe for picking. We can give thanks for the food on our tables.

Lughnasadh means the funeral games of Lugh (pronounced Loo), referring to Lugh, the sun god.  As autumn begins, the Celtic Sun God enters his old age, but is not yet dead. The God symbolically loses some of his strength as the Sun rises farther in the South each day and the nights grow longer.

The Christian religion adopted this theme and called it ‘Lammas ‘, meaning ‘loaf-mass ‘, a time when newly baked loaves of bread are placed on the altar. An alternative date around August 5 (Old Lammas), when the sun reaches 15 degrees Leo, is sometimes observed.

This important and sacred Celtic holiday was one of thanksgiving and celebration. With the joy of an abundant harvest, our ancestors would burn great bonfires on hilltops and dance the night away. This was time of gratitude and a day to honour the Celtic God Lugh.”

From Chemical Poisons to Electromagnetic Pollution

Human endeavor is out of synch with the cycles of nature. For example, for challenges in the garden, including pests, mold, mildew, and root rot, the unthinking, industrial response is to use artificial chemicals, without recognizing that the problems are often caused by lack of awareness of “right timing” for watering, planting, and harvesting, including practices to “push” production, ignoring right rhythms.

Like the need to keep adding more drugs and medications to treat side effects of other drugs, the cycle keeps feeding itself.

Wisdom societies would never have considered using toxic chemicals, or applying poison to the food supply. Many informed consumers are now making their own choices to reject the practices, while  Monsanto lawsuits slowly make their way through court – not unlike tobacco, asbestos, and other  products widely assumed to be safe.

Now, many are questioning the impact of unnatural electromagnetic radiation powering wireless applications, galvanized around 5G, Wi-Fi from space, and other dual use applications of surveillance, military, and monetary control technologies never tested or monitoring for health and environmental impacts.

The unthinking acceptance of chronic, cumulative, and juxtaposed exposures to both chemicals and electromagnetic frequencies are symptoms of a larger issue.

It sources back to the Church’s campaign to gain control of the populace by gaining control of the calendar, and severing the relationship between humans and nature … for example, by decimating the Celtic culture, and destroying cultures aligned with right rhythms in nature.

It’s time to fix this wireless mess, now

Agrarian cultures coined countless commonsense idioms. One references “closing the barn door after the horse has bolted,” referring to trying to prevent or rectify a problem after the damage has already been done.

This is the start of our article series coinciding with the Harvest, continuing on Monday August 2.  On August 1, nature invites you to give thanks for the Harvest, bake some bread, spend time with Nature, and Join the Beach Action against 5G.
