United Kingdom: EMF/RF/5G Resistance Part 3 of 3, History in the Making

Worldwide, governments have aligned with ”the industry-tied unscientific lobby organization ICNIRP”  (the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) to justify the safety of wireless devices and infrastructure, including towers and antennas.

The tide is turning, however, as the ICNIRP agenda is no longer being accepted carte blanche.

“United Kingdom: EMF/RF/5G Resistance & Recent Progress, Part 1 of 3,” looked at the implications of a recent decision in Frome. The UK’s Karen Churchill explained, “When considering other effects from long term exposure to RFR (radio frequency radiation) on the environment and vulnerable groups, councils must consider other sources of evidence about the known hazards and apply the EU Precautionary Principle” (sources other than ICNIRP).

The Court of Turin (Italy) has also rejected the opinion of ICNIRP’s unscientific lobby.

 “EMF/RF/5G Spotlight On The UK: By The Numbers Part 2 Of 3” featured an overview of various news headlines and statistics indicative of resistance to the installation of masts (towers and antennas) by an informed populace in the UK.

A quick glance at continuing efforts in the UK to address unsafe technology demonstrates that many local councils are responding to concern from the public and rejecting tower applications, and that some decision-makers are taking into account health concerns, rather than blindly applying outdated, irrelevant, and unsafe exposure guidelines which have never actually been studied and tested for 5G.

In addition. news coverage of opposition to telecoms appears to much more complete and free of industry influence in the U.K. than it is in the United States, for example, the Nov. 10 Coventry Live coverage of “5G Mast ‘Monstrosity’ Removed From Coventry Road”

In the United States, local decision makers continue to be constrained by FCC guidance, which is also aligned with industry, and outdated and irrelevant for current exposures. As noted in an October report by the Intercept. Homeland Security in the U.S. has been monitoring discussion 5G as a security threat, leading engaged activists to question whose security is at stake.

An informed public is aware that many of the errors that were made in the “Age of Chemistry” outlined by Rachel Carson in her book “Silent Spring” are being repeated within the “Age of Radio-frequencies.” This includes concerns about chronic, cumulative, and juxtaposed exposures and vulnerable populations.  Both human health and the environment are at risk.

UK Historic Legal Case Against 5G

As noted in part 2 of the 3 part UK series, “Campaigners are bringing a historic legal case against the UK Government, challenging the irresponsibility of continuing to allow unacceptable levels of exposure to electro-magnetic radiation that will not protect us from known harm, and takes no account of the cumulative effects of the unseen hazardous electro-smog from multiple sources.”

“Why People are Concerned“

People in the UK are becoming increasingly alarmed as they learn of the serious implications of the 5G roll-out: to their own health, the environment and all biological life. No one wants a mast emitting high levels of radiation outside their home, their child’s school or their place of work. The ‘benefits’ claimed by the telecoms industry come at a very high price.

5G radiation will be sent from advanced antennas, in phased arrays, that transmit microwaves in narrow beams, a technology originally developed for military purposes. This will massively increase the exposure to radiation from those beams. Those beams will be nearly everywhere.

The wireless telecoms industry intend to outfit nearly every lamp post or utility post around the country with wireless small cell antennas beaming hazardous radiation next to, or into, our homes, schools, work places and everywhere, 24/7 as well as intensifying  4G throughout the countryside.- https://actionagainst5g.org/

3. Ecological Threats of the Connected World and 5G—Part 3 Vibeke Frøkjær Jensen DVM PhD (radiology and genetics) is a Danish veterinarian and scientist, working mainly at Danish universities since 1994 (18 minutes)

“Vibeke Frøkjær Jensen DVM PhD (radiology and genetics) is a Danish veterinarian and scientist, working mainly at Danish universities since 1994. She has made important contributions in different fields including quantitative genetics and virology, but her main research field is veterinary epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance epidemiology. In this field, she has been appointed expert and task force member for the EU agencies EMA and EFSA during 2009–2014, and a member of a WHO working group during 2002–2014. Between 2015–2019, she was also scientific advisor for the Danish authorities on animal disease surveillance and control. At present, she is working in clinical bacteriology at the Technical University of Denmark.

Since 2011, she has also functioned as scientific advisor for an NGO, the Danish Council for Safe Telecommunications, working to provide factual information on electromagnetic radiation to the public and politicians, mainly scientific research and publications from international organizations.”
